CBAP® stands for Certified Business Analysis Professional™, a certification offered by IIBA that validates a professional’s experience and knowledge in business analysis.
CBAP® certification is highly respected in the business analysis field, showcasing advanced knowledge and experience, which can open doors to better job roles, higher pay, and greater credibility.
You are eligible if you have a minimum of 7,500 hours of business analysis experience over the last 10 years, covering at least four of the six BABOK® Guide knowledge areas, and have completed 35 hours of professional development in business analysis within the past four years.
For IIBA members, the CBAP® exam costs $325; for non-members, it costs $450. There may be additional costs for training and study materials.
Candidates can retake the CBAP® exam up to three times in one year. If unsuccessful after three attempts, you must wait one year before reapplying.
